*Our beef stew meat is cut from the the chuck, sirloin or round cuts** and comes in convenient packages weighing about one pound. It is well trimmed and cut into 3/4 to 1 1/2 inch pieces making it a more versatile cut to cook with.

This beef stew, when covered with liquid and simmered in a covered pot for about two hours, breaks down to become melt in your mouth tender. We enjoy stew meat not only in stews, but in beef stroganoff, stewed beef and gravy served over rice, and goulash!
