About the Farmer
Joel Georges’ roots go deep into agriculture and industry.
Many generations of Joel’s family were farmers and miners called to provide for their family and others. He learned many life lessons in his father’s shop and farm where his work in animal husbandry and heavy machinery developed.
A solid foundation and understanding of "how things work" led him into a successful career in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems around the globe.
Joel’s experiences helped shape and discover his built-in passion for maintaining and building healthy soils.
Our Story:
Here at Four Rivers Farm, we pride ourselves in our work to consistently produce and provide you with quality products that are delivered right to your doorstep!
Four Rivers founder, Joel Georges, is a generational farmer of dairy cows, dairy goats, beef livestock, boar goats, swine, and chickens. He has developed a passion to not only take farming virtual but also expanding the farm and helping others become beyond organic and non-GMO. Four Rivers aims to be a natural environment where harsh chemicals, harmful pesticides, and artificial growth hormones have been removed from the farming process.
Farmer Joel Georges and wife Misty Georges have six children together. Joel and Misty not only homeschooled all six children but also made 4H and farming education a family priority.
Their children, Obadiah, Justus, Anna, Phebe, Josiah, and Ethan are all 10-year completion members of 4H. Through completing 4H, their children learned to not only produce top quality farm products but also care for their animals and lead a farm that shows compassion and quality care to animals. There is now a new generation of seven grandchildren and counting!
While we here at Four Rivers are dedicated to family and compassionate farming, we know that nothing we do is possible without you, the consumer. We know that you are striving to find safe, nutritious, clean, and pure products for your family; that are fresh from the farm as well!
